Expatriates can now pay the dependent fee quarterly

According to Jawazat, expatriates in Saudi Arabia can make quarterly payments of the fee for their dependents and companions when they renew their Iqama on a quarter-of-a-year basis.

The monthly fee for dependents and companions is SR 400 per person.

Jawazat clarified that those who fall under the definition of dependents include wife, sons under the age of 18 years, and daughters, while companions include sons over the age of 18, second, third, and fourth wives, father and mother, father-in-law, mother-in-law, domestic workers, and any expatriate who is registered in the Muqeem system as an employee of the expatriate worker.

Expatriates can make the payment of the fee for dependents and companions using the updated government payments system, which is available at all Saudi local banks.
