The fees applicable for passengers crossing the King Fahd Causeway have been reduced by 15 percent.

The King Fahd Causeway General Authority (KFCA) announced the fee-reduction program, which would benefit travelers from all nationalities, Akhbar24 reported.

Travelers will have to buy a prepaid Permanent Passenger car to benefit from the fee-reduction offer.

Passengers wishing to get a prepaid membership car have to submit their applications, along with copies of their ID cards or valid residence visas.

The applicants will have to pay a minimum of SR 500 to refill their electronic prepaid membership cards.

Membership fees can be paid using Visa, MasterCard or Mada without the need to pay cash money on the Saudi or Bahraini sides of the causeway.
