According to a new regulation of CITC (Communication and Information Technology Commission), expatriates in Saudi Arabia are only allowed to hold two mobile connections at a time. Therefore, if you already have two or more connections, you should cancel old connection to obtain a new one. This, however, will not applicable for previously issued connections.
CITC has introduced a new system that enables residents to check whether any extra SIM cards are issued under their name without their consent.
