Coronavirus: Saudi Arabia isolates second industrial city in Dammam

Starting Sunday, the Interior Ministry isolated the second industrial city in the Dammam region to curb the spread of the new coronavirus, preventing entry and exit until further notice.

Freight shipments will be able to come and go from the area. The decision allows vital factories to function at a capacity of one third, according to the Ministry of Interior.

As of today, 25,459 cases of coronavirus have been registered in Saudi Arabia, including 4,160 cases in the eastern region.

So far, 339,775 coronavirus tests have been performed by the kingdom.
