COVID-19: Saudi Arabia's recovery rate crosses 97.6%

New coronavirus cases in Saudi Arabia remained below 100-mark for the second consecutive day, with just 94 new infections reported on Monday.

The Kingdom on Sunday recorded 82 new coronavirus cases, the lowest single-day number in the last nine months.

Saudi Arabia’s Health Ministry reported ten more deaths over the past 24 hours due to the COVID-19 brings the total number of deaths to 6,256.

One hundred sixty-six new recoveries were reported over the past 24 hours, raising the total number of recoveries to 354,609, with the recovery rate rising to 97.64 percent.

Thirty-four new cases were reported in Riyadh, followed by Makkah 28 and Eastern region-5, Madina-6, Northern Borders-3, Najran-2, Al Jouf-2, Najran-1, Asir-1, Jazan-1, and Al Qassim-1.
