E-Registration for Hajj 2022 Pilgrims from Europe, UAE and Australia
Saudi Arabia’s Hajj and Umrah ministry has announced the launch of an online service that allows pilgrims from Europe, the USA and Australia to register electronically.
Pilgrims from these countries can now register by visiting the ministry’s portal www.motawif.com.sa. The portal provides packages, support services, and a 24/7 multilingual call centre.

The pilgrim can use the gateway to make sure they meet the requirements, which include being completely vaccinated against COVID-19, being under 65 years old (born after 1-7-1957 AD), and having a negative PCR result taken before departure, with priority given to individuals who have never attended Hajj before.

Foreign pilgrims account for 85 percent of the total one million pilgrims permitted to conduct Hajj this year, according to the government.
A total of 850,000 foreign pilgrims will be allowed to perform Hajj this year, while domestic pilgrims’ number was restricted to 150,000.
