How to Read Your Iqama (Residence Permit)

Saudi Arabia’s residence permit is known as Iqama or Muqeem. Iqama needs to be renewed periodically online. Your basic residency information like your residence permit number, issue date, sponsor name and profession is printed on your Iqama card.

How to Read Your Iqama

Your Iqama card contains the following information:

1. Name in English
2. Name in Arabic
3. Iqama Number
4. Iqama Version
5. Iqama Issue Place
6. Iqama Issue Date
7. Date of Birth
8. Profession
9. Nationality
10. Sponsor Name
11. Religion
12. Photo
