HRSD announces dates of Eid al-Fitr holiday for public and private sectors

HR ministry targets to employ 115,000 nationals in the private sector

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) announced the Eid al-Fitr holiday dates for employees in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors.

The ministry explained that the Eid al-Fitr holiday for the public sector will begin at the end of the working day on Thursday, May 6, 2021 (24 Ramadan 1442 AH) and will end at the end of Monday, May 17, 2021. (5 Shawwal 1442 AH).

According to the ministry, the holiday for the private and nonprofit sectors will begin at the end of Tuesday, May 11, 2021 (29 Ramadan 1442 AH), and will last four days.
