
Indian Man Gets 1-Year Jail and Sr 10,000 Fine on Fake Certificate
An Indian National working in a leading oil company in Dammam was sentenced to 1-year imprisonment and SR 10,000 fine on fake engineering certificate.
The Hyderabadi man, was working as a civil engineer in the same company from last 23 years.
According to procedures, recently the company asked to produce the original qualification certificate. Later he submitted the certificate issued from one of the top university of Andra Pradesh state, India.
But In the primary inspection, the inspection authority doubt and communicate with the university to ensure the genuinity of the certificate.
Later, university confirmed the certificate was fake with a written confirmation.
According to the Dammam criminal court lawyer Mohammed Najathi, The man will be deported after the completion of jail period.
