The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) denied the reports, which were circulated on social media about its plans to reopen international airports after the National Day celebration ended, according to the Directorate’s official twitter account.
Passports advised all to monitor the Jawazat news from credible and official sources in order to avoid rumors or misinformation.
Jawazat also said it will disclose any new decisions or instructions in this regard through its official channels.
Saudi Arabia decided to suspend international flights last March on preventive and precautionary measures recommended by competent health authorities as a result of the coronavirus outbreak.
