Jawazat urges 3 categories to register their vaccination status before entering Kingdom

Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) has urged all non-Saudi travelers to register their vaccination status electronically prior to their arrival to the kingdom.

Jawazat invites the following three categories to register their vaccination status before entering the kingdom.

  • GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) nationals
  • Holders of new visas of all types
  • Resident expatriates and their dependents

Jawazat said in a tweet that “We invite all those coming to the Kingdom other than Saudi citizens, both vaccinated and non-vaccinated, to register vaccine status electronically, through the link: http://2u.pw/C9Ab2

Registration of vaccines electronically before arriving in the kingdom helps speed up the entry procedures and reduce wait times at ports of entry, the Jawazat said.

The Jawazat added that the decision is in line with the Kingdom’s efforts to contain the Coronavirus (Covid-19) and ensure the safety of citizens and residents by following precautionary and preventive measures during entry procedures.
