Man Arrested After Attacking French Consulate Guard in Jeddah

A male citizen has been detained after stabbing and wounding a guard at the French Consulate in Jeddah, Makkah police said on Thursday.

A Saudi man was arrested after he slightly wounded a guard in the attack, police said in a statement.

The guard was taken to a hospital for treatment, the statement added.
