Ministry clarifies mechanisms and procedures for those coming from abroad to perform Umrah
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah clarified the mechanisms and procedures for those coming from abroad to perform Umrah.
The ministry said that pilgrims from abroad will have to visit the Enaya (Care) center in Makkah 6 hours before performing the Umrah to check the immunization status according to the type of vaccines approved in the Kingdom.
The ministry states that the pilgrim will be given a wristband and he should wear it while in the center. Following that, pilgrims will be directed to the assembly point. He will be required to present the wristband upon arrival at the assembly point to verify his information and the permit he is carrying.
The ministry said pilgrims must adhere to the date and duration of the Umrah assigned to them.
The Kingdom began receiving pilgrims from abroad last October, according to conditions and controls set by the Ministry of Health as part of preventive measures to prevent the Coronavirus.
