Moh Issued 5 Guidelines for Protection From Coronavirus

As part of creating health awareness on coronavirus, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has issued 5 guidelines to protect oneself from the coronavirus. The ministry explained this through a recent post on its Twitter account.

The guidelines include,

  1. Avoid contact with people suffering respiratory symptoms
  2. Washing hands thoroughly with water and soap
  3. Cover mouth and nose while coughing or sneezing
  4. Avoid close contact with animals
  5. Eat only well cooked food

The MOH has also provided an overview of the symptoms associated with the virus, including fever, cough and shortness of breath. In some cases, it might develop into pneumonia. The virus may also develop serious complications for those suffering immunodeficiency or chronic diseases.

The Ministry of Health called on anyone who experiences respiratory symptoms to stay at home, avoid contact with others, and refrain from traveling as long as the symptoms remain, as well as covering the mouth and nose with tissues when coughing or sneezing.

The ministry also recommended washing hands with water and soap for at least 20 seconds, or with alcohol disinfectants.
