If the violator returns to committing the violation after that, he/she shall be punished with imprisonment for a period not exceeding 20 days, according to a decision from the Minister of Interior.

The prison sentence referred to shall be a punishment for every violator who does not comply with the authorities responsible for implementing the curfew.

However, the prison sentence does not apply to cases of extreme necessity – including urgent health cases – as determined by the competent authority.

Maintaining public health is one of the most important duties for citizens and residents in this country and they must perform their duty to stay at their homes and not to expose themselves and their country to the risk of spreading this pandemic.
