Penalties for Not Renewing Iqama

According to the General Directorate of Passports, the following are the applicable penalties for not renewing Iqama on-time.

Penalty for first time

Employers will have to pay a fine of SR 500 if they fail to renew Iqama for the first time.

Second-time Penalty

The fine will be increased to SR 1,000 if the delay is committed for the second time.

Third-time Penalty

An expat worker can be deported with an SR 1,000 penalty in the event of a third time.

My husband iqama expire next year feb 25,2020. He wants to exit and his employer allowing him to go home. Did my husband leaving before his iqama expired.

My iqama was expired almost 4 months ..my employer said no problem because it is not hurob and it’s still good,,,and there is no problem on it.how true is this I need anybody expert to advise….thank you

Why the employee has to pay 1000 penalty and get deported if it is his employer was late 3 time to renew his iqama? Is it logic? Or it is a way for their employer to get rid of them without paying their salaries
