People who have recovered from coronavirus can receive two doses of the vaccine, says the Ministry of Health
The Saudi Ministry of Health announced on Thursday that individuals who have recovered from coronavirus infection can receive two doses of the vaccine.
The ministry explained that the first dose of the vaccine can be taken 10 days after infection, citing medical studies demonstrating the safety of the procedure, while noting that receiving two doses increases protection against severe coronavirus variant infection.
According to the ministry, this step is part of its ongoing efforts to prevent infection and protect society from the virus.
The ministry stated that the national vaccination campaign is progressing as planned.
Additionally, the ministry urged everyone to take the initiative to obtain the vaccine by registering on the “Sehhaty App,” emphasizing the effectiveness and safety of the vaccines approved in the Kingdom.
