PIA to resume flights to Saudi Arabia as Kingdom ends temporary travel ban

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Sunday confirmed that it will resume flight operations to Saudi Arabia today after the kingdom announced it would resume international flight operations.

Saudi Arabia on Sunday morning lifted temporary travel restrictions to the kingdom by sea, land and air, after a ban that lasted two weeks amid fears of a new coronavirus variant.

“Passengers will be able to travel to Saudi Arabia from today on all PIA flights,” said the PIA spokesperson. “All travelers must obtain a [negative] PCR test before they travel,” he added.
