Procedure to register vaccination status online for foreigners before their departure to KSA

Saudi Arabia has recently launched an online portal for foreigners to register their COVID-19 vaccination status prior to their departure to the kingdom. Regarding this, Jawazat urged GCC citizens and all types of new visa holders to register their vaccine status online before their arrival to the kingdom.

Here is how to register your vaccination status on the Muqeem portal before your departure to the kingdom.

Select “New Registration”

Enter your Full Name as per the Passport in the “Name” column.

Enter your “Date of Birth”

Select Arrival Type “By Air” or “Overland”

Enter your “Flight Number”

Enter your Arrival Destination

Select “Vaccine Country

Enter the Date of First Dose taken

Enter your “Passport Number”

Choose “Nationality” from the drop-down list

Enter “Arrival Date”

Enter the Name of the Airline

Select “Vaccine Type” as per which vaccine you have taken

Enter the date of Second Dose taken

Click on “Submit” to complete the registration

On the next page, you’ll find the registration form, which you can print and carry with you while traveling. Also, you need to carry your original vaccination paper certificate issued by the public health authorities. Failure to meet these requirements may prevent you from entering the kingdom.

Register Vaccination Status Saudi Arabia Muqeem

Conditions of registration:

1- Obtaining one of the vaccines approved in the Kingdom, which is so far (two doses of the Pfizer-BioNtech vaccine, two doses of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine, two doses of the Moderna vaccine, one dose of the Jansen vaccine).

2- The vaccination certificates are required to be attested by the official health authorities in the country of arriving travelers (the Ministry of Health or an authorized health authority).

3- The period between receiving the last dose (the second dose of a two-dose vaccine or the first dose of a single dose vaccine) and leaving to the Kingdom should not be less than 14 days.

4- Bring the original certificate upon leaving the Kingdom.

5- Entering the information before departure to the Kingdom with a maximum of 72 hours.

6- Acknowledgment of the accuracy of the entered information and the correctness of the information will be verified upon issuance of the boarding pass and at the entry points, and failure to comply with these requirements makes it open to preventing entry to the Kingdom and the legal consequences.

7- Registration is not required for those under the age of 18.
