Saudi Arabia introduced e-permits for one hour of jogging daily during the 24-hour lockdown.
The e-permit will be available upon request through the “Tawakkalna” app. The permit will be restricted to the neighborhood zone (within 1 km of home location) and it will be for one hour only.
The Tawaklana application was launched earlier this month as part of close cooperation between the Ministry of Health and the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), which aims to manage the movement permit system of government entities as well as private sector enterprises during curfew time.
The application consists of many features that contribute to facilitating the access of the authorized persons to travel permits.
How to get e-permits for jogging through the Tawakkalna App?
Sign-up with your ID number.
If you already have the Tawaklana app installed on your mobile, do an update to take advantage of the new features.
Upon opening the app, you’ll be able to see a red colored screen, which means you don’t have permission to leave during curfew hours.
Click the Permissions button at the bottom of the menu.
Select “Jogging Permit“
Click on “Request Permission” and get the permit.
