Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has launched an online service that allows citizens and residents inside the kingdom to register for the Hajj pilgrimage in 2021. According to the ministry, only 60,000 citizens and residents residing in the kingdom will be permitted to perform the Hajj this year.
The main requirements for Hajj 2021 are that pilgrims must have a valid national ID or Iqama, their age must be between 18-65 years, and they must be free from chronic diseases. Also, pilgrims must have an immune status on the Tawakkalna app, and they must not have performed a Hajj pilgrimage in the last 5 years. This year’s Hajj registration will be completed in two phases. The first phase has already started today, Sunday 13 June 2021 at 01:00 PM, and will continue until 23 June 2021 at 10:00 PM. In the second phase, booking and purchase of packages will open on 25th June 2021 at 1:00 PM.
There are three packages available for the local Hajj 2021 and they are the Hospitality Package (Camps) starting from SR 12,113 excluding VAT, the Distinguished Hospitality Package (Camps) starting from SR 14,381, and the Distinguished Hospitality Package (Abraj) starting from SR 16,560.
Procedure to Register for Hajj 2021
Visit the Hajj Registration Page: https://localhaj.haj.gov.sa/
Click on “Register“
Then click on the “I Agree” button.
Enter your “ID Number”.
Select “Date of Birth” (Either Hijri or Gregorian Calendar)
Select “Residence City“
Click on “Submit“.
Enter your “Mobile Number” on the next page.
Enter the “OTP” that was sent to your registered mobile number.
Click on “Confirm” to complete the registration.
Once your application is approved, you will be notified via SMS.
