Quarantine not required for fully vaccinated travelers – Weqaya

Travelers, including residents and visitors who arrive in the kingdom 14 days after finishing their doses of COVID-19 vaccines approved in Saudi Arabia, are not required to quarantine themselves, the Saudi National Center for Disease Control and Prevention (Weqaya) clarified on Sunday.

The clarification comes as the kingdom prepares to resume international flight operations on Monday.

However, all individuals over the age of 8 must submit a negative PCR result obtained within 72 hours of their departure for the kingdom beginning May 20.

Weqaya also stated that institutional quarantine measures will be imposed on expatriates who have not completed their vaccine doses approved in the Kingdom, as the Ministry of Interior previously announced.
