Saudi Arabia announces Eid Al Fitr holidays 2020

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Saudi Arabia has declared the dates of Eid-Al-Fitr Holidays for both government and private sector employees in the Kingdom.

The ministry announced 16-day holidays for the public sector, starting at the end of Ramadan 21st (end of Thursday 14th May 2020) and resuming work on Shawwal 8th (Sunday 31st May 2020).

There is a four-day Eid holiday for the private sector, starting the day following the day of Ramadan 29 (May 22).

The ministry affirmed that every worker has the right to have full paid leave on holidays and occasions in accordance with Article 112 of the Labor Law.
