Saudi Arabia will implement a full-day lockdown and curfew across the kingdom during the upcoming Eid holiday from May 23 to May 27, according to the Ministry of the Interior.
The Ministry of the Interior has stated that measures to prevent coronavirus will remain in place until the end of Ramadan.
The kingdom has extended partial curfew measures throughout the country until May 22, except in Makkah, where a 24-hour curfew will remain in force.
The currently relaxed restrictions, including the resumption of economic activity, will continue until Ramadan ends.
There are 1,911 more cases of coronavirus reported today in Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number of cases to 42,925 with 264 deaths.
