Covid-19 booster dose now available for 18+

The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia announced that the COVID-19 booster shots are now available. The booster dose is available to anyone over the age of 18.

According to the Ministry, the booster dose can only be administered six months after the second dose.

Appointments for booster shots can now be made via the Tawakkalna or Sehhaty apps, the Ministry said.

The Ministry of Health has already begun administering the booster dose to individuals in high-risk groups, including those who have been exposed to organ transplantation, those with chronic kidney disease, and health care workers.

Those in high-risk groups have been urged by the ministry to take the booster dose.
