The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Saudi Arabia announced that the validity of visit visas of people from countries facing travel bans will be extended until September 30, 2021.
According to a statement on the ministry’s Twitter account, the visa extension will be done automatically and without any payments. The visa can be extended using the following link: https://enjazit.com.sa/enjaz/extendexpiredvisa
The ministry stated that this free extension is for holders of visit visas whose validity had expired during the period when direct entry to Saudi Arabia from these countries was suspended due to the outbreak of the coronavirus epidemic.
According to the statement, the move is part of the Saudi government’s ongoing efforts to address the effects and consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic and mitigate its economic and financial impacts.
Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Egypt, Brazil, South Africa, UAE, Turkey, Argentina, Ethiopia, Vietnam, and Lebanon are among the countries that are currently subject to the travel ban.
Jawazat announced last month that it would begin extending the validity of residence permits, exit re-entry visas, and visiting visas to expats stuck in countries with travel bans through August 31.
