Saudi Arabia Increases Water Supply to Meet Increased Demand

The National Water Company of Saudi Arabia announced on Saturday that it would raise its water supply to 9.7 million m3 per day to meet rising demand as citizens and residents stay at home in the Kingdom to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

The company said that all water stations and water supply systems throughout the Kingdom are working normally and are ready to implement a plan to meet the rise in demand for water if required.

The NWC also clarified that, while the company’s customer support centres have been closed since 16 March, consumers are able to reach all services online around the clock at https:/www.nwc.com.sa.
