Saudi Arabia has started refunding work visa fees after canceling visas that were stamped on foreigners passports who were unable to travel to the Kingdom due to the suspension of international flights.
The cancellation and refund of the stamped visas shall be deemed effective from the date of issuance of the Royal Decree on 18 March.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has announced the launch of a mechanism in this regard, in cooperation and coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Several Saudi diplomatic missions abroad have been issuing visas for private sector workers and stamping out their passports. But because of the suspension of flight services due to coronavirus outbreak, the workers were not able to travel to the Kingdom.
