Saudi Arabia Suspends Flights From Gcc Countries Over Coronavirus Fears

SAUDI ARABIA SUSPENDS FLIGHTS FROM GCC COUNTRIES OVER CORONAVIRUS FEARS

Saudi Arabia has temporarily restricted the entry for arrivals from and travel to 9 countries into its territories.

Restrictions applied to passengers from the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Lebanon, Syria, South Korea, Egypt, Italy, and Iraq, as well as suspending the entry of those coming from those countries, and those passengers who were there during the 14 days before their arrival.

The Kingdom also decided to stop air and sea flights between Saudi Arabia and the countries mentioned above.

The source excluded evacuation, shipping, and trade trips while taking the necessary precautions.

The source added that the Ministries of Interior and Health might coordinate to deal with humanitarian and exceptional cases.

FlyDubai

FlyDubai canceled all flights to and from the kingdom until 12 August.

Gulf Air

Bahrain’s Gulf Air suspended all flights to and from the Kingdom until further notice.

Egypt Air

Egypt Air suspended all flights to and from the Kingdom until further notice.

Emirates

Emirates suspended all flights to and from the Kingdom until further notice.
