Saudi Arabia will extend Iqamas, exit re-entry visas, and visit visas of expatriates currently stuck in countries facing travel ban until November 30, 2021, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Friday, citing a royal order.
The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) confirmed that the extension will be carried out automatically in cooperation with the National Information Center. Also Read: Emirates, Air Arabia, Etihad, Flydubai to resume daily flights to Saudi Arabia
The countries currently facing travel ban are India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Egypt, Turkey, Brazil, Ethiopia, Vietnam, Afghanistan, and Lebanon.
On August 24, the kingdom’s interior ministry issued directives allowing direct entry of residents from banned countries who had received two doses of vaccines from Saudi Arabia prior to departure.
