The Saudi Army has joined the efforts of the official authorities to counter the latest coronavirus by helping to create mobile hospitals in different cities.
Armed medical services have begun to set up mobile hospitals to support the preventive steps taken by the health ministry, the Saudi Press Agency announced.
The mobile hospitals are equipped with specialized equipment and medical staff capable of handling the outbreak.
Other military efforts include early identification of the virus before they are admitted to major hospitals and screening cases.
As of Monday, 511 patients with viruses had been reported in Saudi Arabia, 18 of whom had recovered.
