The Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) announced that it would not disconnect the line for a month due to non-payment of the bill, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Monday.

The new move provides great relief for subscribers, as citizens and residents stay at home in the Kingdom to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

The SEC is assuring its subscribers that uninterrupted services are of the highest quality, with its emergency teams working round the clock.

The Saudi Electricity Company also said it is prepared to deal with all situations arising from the coronavirus outbreak.

The company said that it is making all efforts to ensure the safety of its workers while continuing its services through the Ministry of Energy’s crisis centre.
