SR 10,000 Penalty for Unclear Number Plates

The General Department of Traffic confirms that blurred number plates (unclear number plates) will attract a penalty of up to SR 10,000.

It wasn’t phenomenal to see vehicles with blurred number plates in Saudi Arabia. The traffic department in the kingdom is currently enforcing the law more strictly.

A fine of up to SR 10,000 will be imposed if the driver fails to remain at the accident scene, fails to report the accident, or fails to provide necessary assistance to the accident victims.
