New Saudi Driving License Requires Training Course

Brigadier General Mohammed Abdulla Al Bassami, the Director-General of the Traffic Department, announced the suspension of the instant issuing of driver’s licenses.

Applicants for a new driver’s license must complete training classes, according to Akl Bassami.

Al Bassami stated that while seeking a new driver’s license, individuals who are inexperienced should attend a 90-hour training course, while those who are experienced should attend a 30-hour training session.

He stated that those who do not have prior driving experience and seek to obtain a private driving license must complete a more than 120-hour training course.
