The electric scooter service aims to assist pilgrims, particularly those with limited mobility or those who may struggle with walking long distances. These scooters are available on the 3rd floor of the Grand Mosque in Makkah and can be used for rituals such as Sa’ee and Tawaf.

Ticket Prices for Electric Scooters

Pilgrims can choose between single and double-seat scooters, depending on their individual needs and preferences, for Sa’ee, Tawaf, or both. Below are the ticket prices for each option:

Single Seat Scooter:

  • Sa’ee: SAR 57.50
  • Tawaf: SAR 57.50
  • Full Umrah (Sa’ee & Tawaf): SAR 115.00

Double Seat Scooter:

  • Sa’ee: SAR 115.00
  • Tawaf: SAR 115.00
  • Full Umrah: SAR 230.00

If you prefer to use it alone or with a companion, there are options available to suit everyone’s needs. The single-seat cart is ideal for individuals, while the double-seat cart allows two pilgrims to share the ride and perform the rituals together. The fee can be paid at the counter.

How to Operate the Electric Scooter

To operate the scooter, there are two levers on the right and left sides of the handle. Pulling the right lever moves the scooter forward, while pulling the left one moves it backward. Additionally, the dashboard features two buttons: one with a rabbit logo to increase speed and the other with a tortoise logo to slow down.
