SAMA Announces Ramadan Banking Hours and Eid Holidays for 2025

The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) has announced the working hours for financial institutions during Ramadan 2025 and the official holidays for Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha.

Ramadan Working Hours

During Ramadan, banks will operate from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Money transfer centers and payment service providers will have slightly longer hours, from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

Eid Al-Fitr Holiday

Banks and financial institutions will be closed for Eid Al-Fitr from Sunday, March 30, 2025, until Wednesday, April 2, 2025.

Eid Al-Adha Holiday

For Eid Al-Adha, the break will begin on Thursday, June 5, 2025, and end on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.

Exceptions and Continuous Services

Some bank branches, exchange centers, and payment service providers in high-demand locations, such as airports and holy cities (Makkah and Madinah), will remain open to serve customers. These branches cater to Hajj and Umrah visitors and will continue operations as usual.

Additionally, the instant payment system “Sarie” will remain active 24/7, ensuring uninterrupted financial transactions.
