Flyadeal Announces Flights to Karachi Starting February 2025

Saudi Arabia’s low-cost airline, flyadeal, has announced plans to launch scheduled flights to Pakistan’s largest city, Karachi, beginning February 2, 2025. This marks the airline’s first entry into Pakistan and the South Asian region.

The new Karachi service will include two weekly flights connecting the city with Riyadh, Saudi Arabia’s capital, and Jeddah, its commercial hub.

Flyadeal’s CEO, Steven Greenway, expressed excitement about this expansion, highlighting the strong cultural, historical, and economic ties between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. “The new Karachi routes are just the beginning, with more cities in Pakistan in the pipeline,” he said.

The announcement follows flyadeal’s successful operation of Hajj charter flights to Pakistan earlier this year. Greenway emphasized that the growing demand for travel between the two countries, driven by family, business, and religious ties, made this expansion a natural step.

Tickets for the new Karachi routes are now available for booking through official airline channels.

Expanding Operations

Flyadeal currently operates nearly 30 domestic and international destinations across the Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. These services are run from its three main bases in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam.

Starting January 1, flyadeal will further expand its network by adding domestic flights from Dammam to Najran, Tabuk, and Yanbu. On the same day, the airline will also begin flights from Riyadh and Jeddah to the Jordanian capital, Amman.

International Growth Plans

The launch of flights to Karachi is part of flyadeal’s larger international expansion strategy. The airline plans to add more destinations in South Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa as it increases its fleet over the next year.

This global expansion aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to attract over 150 million domestic and international tourists annually by 2030.

Flyadeal’s entry into Pakistan marks a significant milestone in its journey to grow its international footprint.
