Parking Fees at King Khalid International Airport Riyadh 2026

If you’re driving to King Khalid International Airport for a flight, one of the first things you’ll want to know is how much parking will cost. With four distinct parking options available — each suited to a different type of trip — it helps to understand what you’re getting before you arrive.

This guide covers all current parking fees at KKIA, verified from the official airport website, including a key update: KKIA underwent a major terminal reshuffle in February 2026, which has changed which airlines operate from which terminals. Make sure you confirm your departure terminal with your airline before heading to the airport.

Important: Terminal Changes at KKIA (February 2026)

Starting 25 February 2026, KKIA reorganised its terminal operations to improve passenger flow and increase capacity. Under the new layout:

  • Terminals 1 & 2 – International flights operated by Saudi national carriers (Saudia, Riyadh Air, flyadeal)
  • Terminals 3 & 4 – Domestic flights (Saudia, flynas, flyadeal)
  • Terminal 5 – International flights by foreign carriers (Air India, IndiGo, flydubai, Turkish Airlines, Lufthansa, and others)

This matters for parking because the parking lots are assigned based on which terminal you’re using. Always confirm your terminal with your airline before you park.

Drop-Off and Pick-Up Zones

If you’re just dropping someone off or picking them up, you get a free 5-minute window in the designated drop-off and pick-up zones. Overstaying that window carries a hefty penalty — 575 SAR — so be quick.

The Four Parking Options at KKIA

1. ParkSHORT – Best for Quick Trips and Hourly Parking

ParkSHORT is the closest parking option to the domestic terminal. It’s a 3–5 minute walk to Terminal 5, making it the go-to choice for short domestic trips where you want to get in and out fast.

Pricing:

  • 10 SAR per hour
  • Maximum 130 SAR per day

Serves: Terminal 5 (domestic)

If you’re flying domestically — say, a quick trip to Jeddah or Abha — ParkSHORT is the most convenient option. You’re steps away from the terminal entrance.

2. ParkLONG – Best for Extended Stays and Overnight Parking

ParkLONG is designed for travellers who need to leave their car for several days. It sits next to Terminal 5, with a 5–10 minute walk to the domestic terminal. For international terminals, a free shuttle bus is available, with a journey of about 15 minutes.

Pricing:

  • Maximum 80 SAR per day (no per-hour rate published separately)

Serves: Terminal 5 (with free shuttle to international terminals)

The lower daily cap makes ParkLONG the most cost-effective option for multi-day trips — at 80 SAR a day, a week away would cost you 560 SAR total.

3. ParkINTERNATIONAL – Best for International Travellers

ParkINTERNATIONAL sits closest to the international terminals, offering a 3–5 minute walk to Terminals 1, 3, and 4. Free shuttle buses are also available to connect passengers to other parts of the airport.

Pricing:

  • 10 SAR per hour (capped at 130 SAR per day) for the first 48 hours
  • 40 SAR per day from day three onwards (after the 48-hour mark)

Serves: International Terminals 1, 3, and 4

This is the most practical choice if you’re catching an international flight and want to walk directly to your terminal. The pricing structure also makes it reasonably affordable for longer stays — once you pass 48 hours, the daily rate drops significantly to 40 SAR.

4. ParkVALET – Best for Maximum Convenience

ParkVALET lets you hand your car to an airport employee right at the terminal gates, so there’s no time spent hunting for a parking space. This premium service operates at the international and domestic terminals.

Valet service charges (VAT included):

  • 115 SAR – Full valet: airport staff collect your car at the terminal on departure and return it to the terminal on arrival
  • 57.50 SAR – Partial valet: staff either collect your car at the terminal and park it, or retrieve it from the lot and bring it to the terminal (one direction only)

Note: The valet service fee is separate from and in addition to the standard parking fees. Regular parking charges still apply based on how long your car is parked.

Parking fees applicable when using ParkVALET:

  • Domestic terminal (Terminal 5): 10 SAR per hour, capped at 130 SAR per day
  • International terminals: 10 SAR per hour for the first 48 hours, then 40 SAR per day

  • Confirm your terminal with your airline before parking, especially given the February 2026 terminal reshuffle
