How to Check Loans and Bills Linked to Your Iqama Number

July 22, 2025July 22, 2025 by Mohammed Ameen

If you’re an expatriate living in Saudi Arabia, it’s important to stay informed about your financial obligations linked to your Iqama number. Over time, you may have taken out loans, activated telecom services, or signed up for financing without tracking all the details. To help you monitor your credit history, the SIMAH MOLIM app allows you to check if any personal loans, telecom bills, vehicle financing, or mortgages are currently registered under your name—whether they are active, closed, or overdue.

Here’s a simple guide on how to check your credit report and linked services using the MOLIM app from SIMAH (Saudi Credit Bureau).

Cost of Credit Report

SIMAH offers one free credit report per year for individuals. This basic report provides a snapshot of your credit information.

If you need more in-depth details, you can request a paid detailed report, which includes:

  • Complete credit history
  • Credit score
  • Full payment and account status details

You can purchase the paid report directly through the MOLIM app using Mada, Visa, or Mastercard.

Why It’s Important

Checking your credit report helps you:

  • Avoid identity fraud or unauthorized accounts
  • Monitor your financial obligations
  • Improve your credit score for future loans
  • Resolve unpaid or defaulted bills before legal action

What to Do If You Notice Unauthorized Accounts

If you find a loan or telecom account you don’t recognize:

  1. Contact the financial institution listed in the report.
  2. Submit a complaint to SIMAH through the app or website.
  3. Report the issue to relevant authorities, if needed.

In summary, with the SIMAH MOLIM app, expatriates in Saudi Arabia can easily monitor their financial footprint. It’s a reliable way to check if any loans or bills have been registered under your Iqama number. Regular checks can protect you from fraud and help you manage your financial health.
