The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) has announced that expatriates’ dependents and domestic workers outside Saudi Arabia can now renew their residency permits (Iqama) through the online platforms Absher and Muqeem.
In addition, residents who are outside the Kingdom can also extend the validity of single or multiple exit and re-entry visas.

The Jawazat clarified that these services are available through the Ministry of Interior’s electronic platforms, Absher and the Muqeem Portal.
Beneficiaries must ensure payment of the required service fees as stipulated by regulations to access these services.
