The Ministry of Interior in Saudi Arabia has announced important rules and procedures for the upcoming Hajj season 2025. These steps are taken to make sure everything runs smoothly and safely for everyone involved, especially the Guests of Al-Rahman.
Here’s what you need to know:
1. Umrah Entry and Exit Rules
- The last date for Umrah performers to enter the Kingdom is Sunday, April 13, 2025.
- The last date to leave the Kingdom for Umrah performers is Tuesday, April 29, 2025.
2. Entering Makkah – New Conditions for Residents
Starting from Wednesday, April 23, 2025, you can only enter Makkah if you have one of the following:
- A valid work permit
- AÂ residency ID issued from Makkah
- A valid Hajj permit
Without one of these, entry will not be allowed.
3. Umrah Permits Suspended Temporarily
The issuance of Umrah permits through the Nusuk platform will be suspended from:
Tuesday, April 29, 2025 to Tuesday, June 10, 2025
No permits will be issued through Nusuk during this period.
4. Entry Ban for Visa Holders (Except Hajj)
Starting Tuesday, April 29, 2025, no one holding any visa type (except those with a valid Hajj visa) will be allowed to enter or stay in Makkah.
These regulations are part of the Ministry of Interior’s efforts to ensure safety, proper organization, and smooth arrangements during the Hajj season.
