Power Connection Will Be Disconnected If Electricity Bill Arrears Exceed SR 1000: SEC

SEC to disconnect power if arrears exceeds SAR 1000

The Saudi Electricity Company has said that it will disconnect the power connection if the bill arrears exceed 1,000 riyals.

The company also said that the connection would be disconnected even if the bills had not been paid for more than three months.

The SEC will notify users of the disconnection date via SMS to a mobile number registered with the system.

The Saudi Electricity Company clarified this in response to a customer’s question about power disconnection.
