The fixed bill service (Tayseer program) of the Saudi Electricity Company allows customers to pay a monthly fixed rate bill based on their average monthly consumption over the previous year. This article explains how you can cancel the SEC fixed bill service if you have already activated it.
Steps to Cancel / Unsubscribe SEC Fixed Bill Service (Tayseer Program)
Visit the Saudi Electricity Company’s website: https://www.se.com.sa/en-us/Pages/home.aspx
Select the customer type, individual, or business.
login to the SEC website using your username and password.
An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number; enter it and proceed.
If you haven’t declared the property, you must do so before unsubscribing from the Saudi electricity fixed bill. After declaring the property, you must wait 24 hours for it to be activated.
After declaring the property, go to the homepage and select Fixed Bill.
Then, in Account Services, select Fixed Bill and proceed.
You can see the contract number you declared, as well as other details such as the estimated monthly amount, fixed bill duration, and status.
To cancel, click the “Unsubscribe” button in the bottom right corner.
On the screen, you’ll see a message that says “You will be unsubscribed from the service. Would you like to continue“.
Click the “Confirm” button.
Enter the OTP that was sent to your registered mobile phone.
The status will then change to “Subscription Cancellation Received.”
