GCC Residents Can Now Perform Umrah Anytime
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced that residents of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries can now perform Umrah throughout the year. This initiative aims to make the pilgrimage more accessible and convenient for GCC residents.
Umrah packages can be booked through “Nusuk,” the official digital platform for pilgrimage services in Saudi Arabia. Residents can also apply for an Umrah visa through accredited visa centers.
Travelers transiting through the Kingdom on Saudia Airlines or Flynas can obtain a transit visa, which allows them to perform Umrah during their stopover. Additionally, a tourism visa is available via the electronic visa platform, enabling visitors to perform Umrah and visit holy sites across the country.
To ensure a smooth and organized experience, all pilgrims must secure an Umrah permit through the Nusuk app before arriving at the Grand Mosque in Mecca.
This move highlights Saudi Arabia’s commitment to improving services for pilgrims and facilitating religious journeys for GCC residents.
