If you are visiting Saudi Arabia on an Umrah visa, you no longer need to carry your passport everywhere. Instead, you can show a Digital Visitor ID for identity verification while inside the Kingdom.
This digital card includes your:
- Full name in English and Arabic
- Photo
- Border number
- Visa issue date
- Visa expiry date
- Nationality
- Visa type
You can get your Digital Visitor ID through either the Tawakkalna app or the Absher app. Below is the simplest method using Tawakkalna.
Get Digital Visitor ID Through Tawakkalna
Follow these steps:
- Download the Tawakkalna app from your mobile App Store.
- Open the app and select Sign in using username, then choose Sign Up.
- Under account type, choose Visitor/Gulf.
- Select Passport, then enter your passport number.
- Choose your nationality and enter your date of birth.
- Enter your mobile number, check the agreement box, and tap Next.
- Set a new password and confirm it.
- Complete face scan verification and tap Activate.
How to View Your Digital Visitor ID
- Tap your profile photo
- Go to Cards
- Select Digital Visitor ID
- A full version will appear with a QR code for security verification
This digital card is officially accepted across Saudi Arabia and helps make your Umrah journey easier and safer—without the need to carry your passport everywhere.
