Visiting Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah? Here Are the Latest Rules and Timings

The General Authority for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques announced on its official X account the latest visiting hours for Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, including timings for men and women and entry rules.

Visit Permits Through Nusuk

To visit Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah, visitors must obtain a permit through the Nusuk platform. Here’s how to book a permit using the Nusuk app.

Each person can receive this permit once every 365 days.

There is also an instant-entry option available if you are physically close to the Prophet’s Mosque. This system helps manage visitor flow and ensures a smooth and peaceful experience.

Entry Gate

Entry to Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah is from the southern courtyards, in front of Makkah Gate (Gate 37).

Approved routes are in place to keep movement organized and avoid crowding.

Daily Visiting Hours

For Men

  • 2:00 a.m. to Fajr prayer
  • 11:20 a.m. to Isha prayer

For Women

  • After Fajr prayer to 11:00 a.m.
  • After Isha prayer to 2:00 a.m.

Friday Visiting Hours

For Men

  • 2:00 a.m. to Fajr
  • 9:20 a.m. to 11:20 a.m.
  • After Friday prayer to Isha

For Women

  • After Fajr to 9:00 a.m.
  • After Isha to 2:00 a.m.

Support for Elderly Visitors

Elderly visitors are allowed to enter using a manual wheelchair, according to the approved guidelines. This makes it easier for them to perform their visit comfortably and safely.
