If your vehicle has been stolen in Saudi Arabia, you no longer need to visit a police station to file the initial theft report. The Ministry of Interior offers an electronic service through the Absher Individuals platform, allowing eligible vehicle owners to report a stolen vehicle online in just a few steps.

Who can use the service?
The online vehicle theft reporting service is available to:
- Saudi citizens
- Residents with a valid Iqama
- Owners of vehicles registered in their name
- Users with an active Absher Individuals account
The service is provided free of charge.
How to report a stolen vehicle through Absher
Follow these steps to submit a vehicle theft report online:
Step 1: Log in to Absher Individuals
Sign in to your Absher Individuals account using the website or the official Absher mobile app.
Step 2: Open the Vehicles section
From the main dashboard, select Vehicles.
Step 3: Go to Vehicle Management
Choose Vehicle Management to view the vehicles registered under your name.
Step 4: Select the vehicle
Choose the vehicle that has been stolen.
Step 5: Report the theft
Select Report Vehicle Theft, review the terms and conditions, and submit the report electronically.
Your theft report will be registered without the need to visit a police station.
What happens after submitting the report?
Once the report is submitted successfully:
- The vehicle is immediately recorded as stolen in the relevant security systems.
- The authorities can begin the necessary procedures to locate the vehicle.
- Only one active theft report can exist for a vehicle at a time.
Important conditions
Before using the service, make sure that:
- The vehicle is registered in your name.
- You have an active Absher Individuals account.
- There is no existing active theft report for the same vehicle.
