Key Conditions for Reporting Absconding Visit Visa Holders
To file a report, the following conditions must be met:
- Visa Type: The visa must be a personal or family visit visa.
- Expired Visa: The visa must be expired, and the report can only be submitted between 7 to 14 days after the visa expiry date.
- One-Time Report: Each visitor can only be reported once for absconding.
- No Cancellation: Once the report is submitted, it cannot be canceled.
This service helps hosts take necessary measures if a visit visa holder overstays and absconds.
Extending a Visit Visa
Absher also allows users to extend a visit visa under the following conditions:
- Timely Extension: The extension can be requested within 7 days prior to the visa’s expiry or up to 3 days after expiration.
- Requirements:
- The visitor must still be present in Saudi Arabia.
- The passport must be valid.
- There must be no unpaid traffic violations associated with the visitor.
- Medical insurance must cover the extended period.
- Extension fees must be paid.
This extension service is available for both single-entry and multiple-entry visit visas.
