Mobile phones are a necessary and basic communications tool now used not only for phone calls, but also for accessing the Internet, sending messages, and documenting the world.

People lose their most important data, photos, and documents when a smartphone is stolen. There is also a big chance of misusing this data.

How to Block Your Lost / Stolen Mobile Phone / Device in Saudi Arabia

Major telecom networks in Saudi Arabia allow blocking lost/stolen devices. Currently STC, Mobily and Zain Providing the service.

All you want to do is just visit your network provider’s office with the following details.

Requirements for Locking a Mobile Device

  • Customer Handset IMEI number. Usually found printed on the phone underneath the battery or found by typing *#06# on the handset.
  • Proof of ownership (purchase invoice and warranty card from official dealer).
  • Customer mobile number should be recorded as a user for this handset at least once during the previous month of the request.
  • Customer should sign the declaration form provided for the service and attach a copy of customer ID for Saudi’s or Iqama or Passport for non-Saudi.
