Penalties for Not Renewing Iqama

According to the General Directorate of Passports, the following are the applicable penalties for not renewing Iqama on-time.

Penalty for first time

Employers will have to pay a fine of SR 500 if they fail to renew Iqama for the first time.

Second-time Penalty

The fine will be increased to SR 1,000 if the delay is committed for the second time.

Third-time Penalty

An expat worker can be deported with an SR 1,000 penalty in the event of a third time.

What if the iqama gets expired when the worker is outside Saudi on exit re entry. Hope someone has genuine knowledge on this situation to share for others. Thanks in advance,

i don’t have iqama until now what is the penalty for that and they tell they renewed, it’s almost 1 year from now.

Why this for expatriate, why not their sponsor or company?
It’s clear fault from them….
